Haven't had time to try the folded paper, but the cotton idea sounds really good to do also. Didn't have much time today + the weather here is ****ing 102 degrees. Didn't even want to go outside one bit today.

Hopefully i'll have time tomorrow when I get off school.

Thanks for the input guys. Knew i'm not the only one with this problem hah.

You're welcome :)

Btw when i did it some of the cotton will kinda try to peek out from the edges, so i just ran a black sharpie tip in the edge and it kinda forced the cotton inwards while also turning it black, so therefore you cannot see it whatsoever. :D

Now i just gotta get my trunk to quit rattling.

bend the mirror all the way up and angle how you want it. then put paper all around the ball.. i dont think the cotton will hold up as it is soft

I don't think you know what i'm talking about. The "ball" i am referring to is only accessible by taking off the mirror. You twist it off of the piece that is glued to the windshield, and there is a little gray metal ball right there, put a cotton ball right there over that ball, then clamp the WHOLE mirror back onto it. No rattle.

Nahh im too cheap to do that. lol Dynamat is too expensive, and i've heard mixed reviews on its quality.
I've tried putting foam tape everywhere (it doesn't look trashy, its carefully trimmed so you can't even tell its there), and i even drilled out the holes on the whole latch piece on the trunk lid and moved it up more so the trunk would stay shut tighter. All those things helped out a little, but there's pretty much nothing i can think to do. :explode:

Try dnymating your trunk lid, then the sides of your trunk. then dynaLITE the roof and put dynapad on that thing. If you want Dynamat where your 6x9's sit in the rear like i did. It works but the deep bass will still rattle things
