i was wondering what is generally considered the best "sport/luxury sedan"?

daily driver, quick, good handling, nice interior/exterior, comfort, looks, ect.

(something that no "mods" would be done to)

take it all into account and what would you buy (and why)?

(to not let things get out of hand lets keep it under $40k new and look at the 07 model, but upcoming cars can also be suggested)

ones i had in mind were:

acura tsx
acura tl
audi a4
bmw 3-series
infinti g35
lexus is
volvo s80
mercedes c-class
etc.

Honestly, I don't feel the Acura's belong on that list..

yeah, not as sporty as some, and not as luxury as others :(

i just really like the euro-r accord (tsx), and if that's on the list, then i figured it's beefier big brother (tl) should also be on there :)

plus it's acura, this is a honda forum...... someone would have eventually mentioned them. :D

EDIT:

MSN Autos Expert Review said:
An early 2004 model, the TSX arrived to America as a shorter, narrower
version of the Honda Accord sold in Europe and was given more power and
equipment for the U.S. market. Major competitors include the Audi A4 and
BMW 3-Series.

The biggest advantage of the TL over the TSX is its 3.2-liter 258-horsepower
V6. The TSX has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, which has a horsepower
increase from 200 to 205 for 2006.

Otherwise, both cars look pretty much alike and have the same wealth of
standard equipment.

Recommended Alternates

▪ 2007 Volvo S60
▪ 2007 Audi A4
▪ 2007 BMW 3 Series
