My cousin has a projection and I love it.

I'll probably end up with an LCD, since it seems that what I'll get for $500

why not save and get a good tv? 60hz lcd's dont cut it, imo...little tv's are fine but the bigger they get, the more apparent the motion blur.

Guess I need to do some more TV homework as well, I don't think I have seen an LED tv yet, but I have always liked the LCD tv's. Haven't heard anyone I know complain about the LCD tv, although maybe they haven't had it long enough to complain about it.

Apparently Cyber Monday is a good time to get deals online as well?

Matt's right, our Boxing Day deals don't quite compare to Black Friday, although with the recession, this year might be different.

for 90% of people out there, a tv is a tv. once you're in the know, its hard to watch bad tv's :lawl:

cyber monday has the best deals on tech stuff, by far. how many times have you had to go online to get something your local store doesnt stock like a hard drive or certain monitor? they are on sale on CM :)

looking to buy a DSLR

As are we......although if there is a 32" LCD that is priced right, that may come home with us as well. :deal:

Definately have to be in the know, I have watched my share of tv's, so I can at least say I know what I like.

32" - 36" would be ideal for the Master Bedroom, not as the main house tv, that I would prefer a 50".

What kind of DSLR camera, Roy? We're looking for a good deal on a D90.
