^+2 I did mine flat black with High temp paint from autozone. In my opinion, I think you should sand prime and paint, others will disagree, but i think if you are going to paint something do it right, and spend time on it

With mine i cleaned them with simple green then wiped down with acetone. No primer or sanding. Took my time and it came out great. When i do my retro i will sand and prime

i did flat black, i will take a pic when i get them back on, i was also redoing the outside surface of them so they are still some what foggy i need to get some polish. im attempting to clean up old foggy lights that had water damage in them and water drops in it. if its crap i will just get new set. thanks guys for your help :rock:

If you have foggy hazing lenses check my 3m headlight thread. Works wonders . Alot of people said the hazing comes back but if you wax your headlights when you wash your car youll be good

getting the lenses back on was a pain, not even sure if i got it all togeather but 7th gen head lights have a lot of weird clips, along with the now uneven glue probably gonna bake them 1 more time after they harden in hopes that they settle some more. then i gotta re seal them

KRYLON flat black. i got this meguiars plastx to polish the lens but it does nothing so i need a different product any suggestions?

ive used those kits on a few of my friends cars and my own 1 time. i will have to see if i still have some of the polish left and the foam drill attachment
