Honda didn't make a true "black" interior color for our accords. Classy Gray is the darkest tone. It's a charcoal that's nearly as dark as black, but not quite.

Replacing your OEM pieces with new ones is $$$. Doors and dash panels alone will easily cost more than $500 new from any Honda parts store. You'll save some money buying them used, but then the condition of the pieces comes into play. I'd recommend taking your time & painting the pieces yourself.

It looks great so far! How long do you think its going to take for it all to get done?

I've been thinking for a while about doing something like this to my tan interior.

I don't like how I can see basically my entire interior from the front window of the car.

That takes some courage man, I don't know if i'd do it myself but I just might. The previous owner of my 'cord splattered some white paint on the dash and NOTHIN has been able to take it off. I might just paint over it now hmmm..

David, just an FYI......that Krylon Fusion Paint takes really well, just prep with some rubbing alcohol on a rag. I used satin black on all of my panels, and I found it to be too glossy, especially on the dash there was a lot of glare. I would suggest going with flat black all around or just flat on the dash and satin everywhere else.

Doing all the plastic parts in my car that I did, took me about six hours and six cans of paint. That stuff really work great.

For your headliner you're probably going to need 4-5 cans of that fabric paint. I used it on my seats in my Accord and they came out great. Just take your time.

If you're going to remove the headliner..... I would choose to wrap it in suede or the fabric of your choice over painting it...

good luck tho David. should be sweet!
