The car would be seriously gangster if the side windows were tinted, but regardless, love it. I was looking at picking up the GC's to go with my Yellow's as well. Are you happy with the ride quality of them? Any clunking noises from the rear?

Some people have said they do and some don't. I think there are some extra parts that people have gotten to deal with that, not sure.

Yeah I know. I hate it when only the back has tint but I live in NJ so the tint on the front windows are illegal and around me, and all the cops know me so if they see me with tint on, they will pull me over in a second. Maybe I'll re-tint the whole car in the spring. I love my GC's. They only make clunking noises when going over speed bumps and stuff. GC makes special threaded bodies for Koni struts. I had Illuminas before so I had to buy them.

I had a cheap set of coilovers on the car that made the clunking noises going over bumps, but I heard the GC's were better and didn't always do that if you got them with the extra top hats or whatever it was.

Sucks about the tint laws, but hopefully you can get it done and just roll with the windows down or something.

Yeah I'll get it done in the Spring. The car is sitting in the garage all winter anyway. What percent do you think I should do? 5 or something lighter. The back is 5 already but its fading and turning purple so it needs to be redone.

I would say 35% is dark enough, since the car is already black, the tints will look darker than they already are.

i personally have 15% in teh rear 3 and 55% in the front 2, although mine have not faded in color at all in the last 5 years, the 55% fronts are sorta hard to notice now but maybe im just too used to them now.
