If ya think about it, you pay for what you get, and paying that much for those, it seems legit.

they seem to look exactly like the nex coilovers who people seem to dislike

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEX-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4ceb7c074c

and they both look like Omnis and skunks.....

I read through that whole thread.

That gut GoldenEagle seems like a douche and totally unprofessional. How can you rep a company with horrible grammar? Seems awfully sad to me

IMO all companies started somewhere, you never know in 5 years or so this could be a company to look out for. Their products could become as desirable as a Tein....:duckhunt:

IMO, all these asian car companies are getting better in quality of what they build... just a few years ago, no1 would drive a korean car and look at what hyaundai has proven it self to be... now their sales are through the roof... and we drive japenese vehicles and get all this JDM stuff so im just thinking... how bad can these be even if they did outsource from Taiwan. I am pretty sure most companies do anyway...

and with these other companies, you are really paying for a brand, all these products come from the same area

yup, tein does.
Every company in the industry gets some of their parts from other sources, not just Taiwan. However, that does not speak for the valving on them. These Taiwanese coilovers are just like a lot of other Taiwanese coilovers I assume...

I wouldn't buy them but I have high expectations from my suspension systems.

SleeperCell, should he skip the Blackworks and try AMR engineering coilovers? Doesn't AMR valve the shocks per your specs and set up?

** I checked their site and I dont see an application for Accord.

AMR coilovers are in a completely different league in comparison to these "Blackworks" coilovers. AMRs are like three times the cost man LOL. AMR coilovers have much much better valving, and they're all valved to spec, meaning that depending on which spring rates you go with, the valving will be different. My guess is that this company just has a few different shock tube lengths and then they kind of have a generic "formula" as to how much nitrogen and shock oil they will mix, and presto... You have a coilover.

AMR doesn't do that. I've talked with Andy many times and he's a pretty honest guy. He doesn't make coilovers until they are ordered, and he builds them from scratch basically, with exception to some generic parts like their Hyperco springs, along with some other smaller parts. This is just to save time and money though. The bulk of the coilover is made from an aluminum chunk on his CNC machine.

And don't let their site fool you. Andy has actually owned a few Accords and he loves working with them, so he'd be happy to build a set. I'd start a group buy for them but I have a feeling people wouldn't put out when the time comes. So in short, yes he still makes coilovers for the 6th gen/CL/TL.
