There are several reasons why you cant shift into reverse, first thing i would check is the shift linkage, gearshift lever. If its not one of those you'll have to rebuild the transmission, odds are its most likely due to the shift rails, or the idler gear assembly. The shift collar could be getting caught up on the synchro assembly, try putting the car in neutral for a few seconds, and put it into reverse, rinse and repeat. Another thing to consider is the reverse lockout system, when the car is over a speed of X, the PCM energized a reverse lockout solenoid and pushes a cam/lock pin down. Check the solenoid to make sure it is functioning correctly, try disconnecting it.
