car is nice. i like the new wheels. cant wait for them to go on.

Me too, I'll be spending a day fitting them & adjusting suspension/camber settings.

did you go with the duraflex cause that bumper sits close to the ground and the authentic on eonly comes in fiberglass right? The bottom of the bumper would get shaved through in no time daily drivin. Interested in how you mounted the reverse lights. Oh and did you mount the rear side markers?

Yes, I went with the Duraflex bumpers instead because they were much stronger than the authentic kit. The bottom of the front bumper won't scrape a bit (especially with the splitter underneath it), I'd consider myself an expert at driving a lowered car and I would never take this car on bad roads anyways (it's not my daily driver anymore). I have too much time and money invested into it to allow it to get damaged.

The reverse lights are pretty unique I think. The Hella projector foglight brackets are mounted to the rear bumper frame. The projector housing sits flush against custom openings in the rear bumper (on both sides of the license plate area) that are lined with custom rubber grommets, and the projector lens itself is the only piece that you see from the exterior...it took a lot of time and trials to get it the way we wanted it.

Here's a pic of the rear bumper in the earlier stages of prepping, you can see where the projector lenses will appear from:

Hell yes! Nice work.

Thanks, it's coming along nicely. It's taken forever, but the shop and I are both perfectionists.

Haha yes. I was set on getting another set of Works until I came across these. I may need to have them professionally refinished, but they're worth it.

Yes, we made custom brackets and mounting points for my Hella Micro DE xenon foglights in the BuddyClub2's front bumper holes. They fit perfectly.

Old example here (obviously this was before prepping and fabricating):
