Power and speaker wires ran and zipped. Power was a pain to get through the firewall through the stock grommet since the grommet was behind/under the fuse box.

pretty clean install man! nice job. You made the box and wall yourself?

speaker wire run next to the power wire :skurred:

what old ppi amp? :naughty:

I have one set of rcas' running right on top of my power wire, and I have no noise problems or any problems at all. I thought I was going to have problems at first, but i had no other choice because I mounted an amp under each seat. So as long as you have a good set of shielded rca's ( I use rockford fosgate, or street wire zero noise) you should be good.

but

i had noise with a speaker wire next to the power wire...so now the power wire is the only thing on the driver's side. i still have some noise, and i've narrowed it down to the antenna connection at the head unit or the climate control. yes, climate control. turn on the rear defrost or a/c, and the sound triples. but thats for a different thread :hide:

I had the same exact problem with the AC and stuff and even when turning on my headlights the ground noise would triple ... I redid all my grounds and reran my wires and still the same thing.... And one day the noise got really bad, and I just replaced my amp witha brand new Alpine 300/4, and it all went away.

My understanding was the ground wire needs to be run down one side and everything else can be run down the other side.

Pretty clean install though, nice work with it.

It's a sealed box?(I didn't click the links...too lazy)
