lol @ firestone lifetime alignment.

they dont know how to handle lowered cars. take it to a real shop if you care that much.

they will actually ask you to sit in the drivers seat and align with you in it.

and unless the shop has a great insurance policy, i doubt theyd do that.

I go to a shop that does that (he figured your weight/alignment have to be in sync, and therefore does the alignment with your added weight to it)..he does alot of high end cars that are serious about the track..don't bother taking a regular grocery getter there tho..he'll decline the business....

The weight of the driver adjusts the car's stance on the ground. If you are a heavy mo-fo, you would be surprised what it can do to camber.

Camber does wear your tires faster on the inside than on the out. Toe wears a tire completely evenly, camber wears a tire on the inside / outside more depending on how much it is off.

You would be surprised on how long a tire lasts with camber, but it also depends on the mileage / style of driving. Since I do a lot of twisties and go to the track, the tires are wearing a lot more evenly since when you take a corner the weight and tire shifts over from negative camber to neutral.

went to get an alignment today and was told my front wheels were toe-ed out like a V. my front right wheel is pushed a bit back than the left front wheel.

everything is ready for my trip to VA.
