Car got hit again, tail light question

So...my turn signals are clear, I think. The aftermarket replacement was pink, I complained so they ordered them from Honda by VIN. They called and told me it is done, but they are pink from Honda, and the problem is mine are faded.

There appears to be much more than fading...what gives? Anyone know what the change was? Need to know ASAP, they want me to pick up the car this afternoon.

The 98-00 sedan tail tops were pink I hue with that orange plastic piece inside making the one spot look orange. This stayed consistent from 98-00. The reflector paint peels differently on different cars causing a variance. The only red/clear tail lights available on the car were aftermarket/DEPO.

I think the TYC replacement taillights are more "chrome" than "pink".

My car was hit by a bus in the same corner years ago when my mom still owned it and they replaced the taillight with a TYC part. And comparing the right to the left was like night and day.

So mine is just faded...damn. Well, I guess I can either buy a new Honda right side or sell my 3 new Honda parts and go aftermarket. I like the clear better, but I have to make them match.

All the 98-00 OEM tails were pinkish.

There may have been some fading with your tails, but they really aren't that off from how they were new.

Aftermarket are much better for the 98-00. The OEM 01-02 ones come in red/clear(once you remove the orange reflector).

Yeah, I'll make sure that's straightened out, thanks for the reminder.

It was actually pretty bad, 1/4 was pulled away from the door, trunk lid was kinked. First thing when I get it home I'm pulling the bumper cover to make sure they did it right.
