I. Mountain runs

went to a meet tht turned into a mountain run... went for 3 hrs plus (10:30 pm to 1:45 am)..... handling was pretty good, and i kept up with my friend's boosted GSR, a B16 EG hatch and a prelude SH.... it was so initial D up there lol :peace: btw, this was where they shot the last race in F&F3 (mustanf vs 350z)..... brakes were ok tho.... bites hard, but it freakin stinks up after each run :furious:

II. 1/4 miles

After sleeping for 3 hrs, got up before 6am, and headed over to the california speedway.... it was freakin hot, and my times kinda suxed.. btw, here's wat i ran with:

EVERYTHING!!
only took out spare tire.... sub was still in and i ran on my 18" rims with tire pressure of 26 psi...oh, had 3/4 tank of 87 octane gas too :bash: first ran suxed cos i didn't know wat i was doing lol... here r my time for run 2 and 3 tho:

Run 1, vs 2001 prelude SH with bolt-ons (win, but cos he broke his axle):

RT: 0.138
60': 2.576
330: 7.18
1/8: 10.974
MPH: 64.32
1000': 14.275
1/4: 17.042
MPH: 81.72

Run 2, vs 3rd gen GSR sedan with bolt-ons (I lost):

RT: 0.334 (i dazed off at the line  )
60': 2.505
330: 7.193
1/8: 11.004
MPH: 64.02
1000': 14.314
1/4: 17.087
MPH: 81.52

good run, but bad launch... i had wheel hop cos i dumped the clutch at 4K vs feathering the clutch in run 2

so, it official tht my car is slow as f*ck.. btw, i need to get an oil change, valves adjusted and my timing belt done

With some better tires and say a 2.3 60ft I bet you'd be at about a mid 16 second pass which is decent for the car. Sounds like you had a great weekend:beer:

but then again if you ran on a cooler day, got a better launch, dropped some weight (stock wheels, tossed the sub.) Id say you hit mid 16's easy. remember every 100 pounds is .1 off your et. and wheels are unsprung weight, so they do make considerable difference.

*edit* you know youre on a 6th gen accord site when you say 16's are a good time lol.

lol... i can cut 2.3's in my accord ;]... i used to think dumping at high rpms did something until i figured out i can launch at 2k with no spin and just go... its nice i think i can make it into 15's in the 1/4 or so i hope lol

thanx for the comments guys... i know i can eaily hit mid 16s with stock rims and less weight.... it was my first time, so i was still experimenting on how to launch.... in run 2, i launched at 4K but i feathered it (which is better imo)... in run 3, i launched at 4K but i got massive wheel hop..maybe next time i can try launching at 3K and dumping the clutch
