There was an article on Jalopnik during C4C about a guy that traded in a mint Maserati Biturbo IIRC........people are dumb....

just like saw where someone turned in a 89 Dodge Dakota convertable truck and those was rare. Seen a lot of nice cars in the junk yard nothing wrong with them. It was a sad day in american history

Sorry, but anything less than a 6 year old car should NOT qualify for a cash 4 clunkers trade.
Some aer probably still under the manufactures warranty

we had our cash for clunkers last year... we have to buy like a 3 quart jug of this liquid glass stuff that just hardens in the engine and makes it stop... it doesnt blow up or ne thing just stops and ceases to do stuff.. lol

the requirements then were it had to be over a certain amount of years old 10 I think and it had to have less than 15 miles per gallon (not what it currrently got but what the mpg was rated from the factory) it was retarded how many nice older cars came threw that we had to destroy the motor in...
