Cat converter

so i have to smog my car and this is the only cat on ebay i can find that is actually cal state legal. but it seems it fits prelude and the accord. just wondering if this would actually fit.

Are you ULEV ? If you are, and you don't get a ULEV Cat, I think you might throw a CEL .. I think .. someone else should probably chime in

do the shops in there raise the car in the air to inspect the exhaust or no?
what some people do in here locally is run 2-3 generic cats one after another to pass emissions and then just put back on their test-pipe etc.

damn. where the hell am i supposed to get a ULEV cat? honda the only option?

none of the shops i seen raise the cars up. they just put it on the dyno

Yeah, thats the standard LEV cat. I believe there were a couple of ULEV cats in the FS section of the forum. If not, you can always check the junkyards in California. I'm sure they're filled with them.
