i wouldnt use them to flash, youll prolly shorten the lifespan on them a lot. if used jsut as lights tho, i dont see why they could be illegal. as long as its white light you should be fine.

im sure u could use them for turn signals.... you would probably be less subject to being pulled over if the cops do have an issue with them if they were orange/amber colored.... white i dunno.... mine were just always on since i wired them to the lower parking light bulb

yeah, I wanna use mine to replace the lower amber bulb that lights up the amber strip. So basically instead of the orange strip being there lit up, I'm gonna change it out with my new ccfls in that spot and wire it straight into the power for the bulb that was used for the amber strip. It will never be used for turn signals.

right, I think that's what most people here have been doing.. either LED strips, or CCFL's in that spot you are talking about.

CT state law states that a front marker light can be either white or amber. So in my state it's legal.

Not sure about MD, but I'm pretty sure that most state DOT laws are derived from Federal DOT laws, so I'm sure your fine.

How would I find out what the law is for that here in Maryland? Does anyone know a website for that stuff?
