Make that two ideas from this thread alone: LED strips and switchback turn signal lamps. Thanks!...:)

Just a thought...

But I was wondering if it was possible to just have the parking lights turn on and not the corner lights when you flick the switch for the parking lights, yet have the corner lights work when signaling.

It's possible, but doesnt look good. Basically you'd just cut the wire (or put a switch in so you can choose whether or not to have the corners on). In the sedans, I know the bulbs are 1157. They use 3 wires, 1 ground, 1 for parking, 1 for turning. The green wire is the turning wire. I would definitely suggest a Haynes manual, works wonders.

Anyone got the Haynes manual as a PDF? I'm too cheap to shell out $20 for a book :jae:

I'm trying to imitate the new Audis' DRL which uses a strip of LEDs...

Why don't you pick up 2 flexible led strips, put them in the parking light section, and run the wires to something that is on when the car is on (not sure exactly, seen and heard of it but never done it).

Ive been taking a peak at this thread every so often, pretty cool ideas in here. I had a question for those of you with the LED strips; How did you mount them? Could you maybe take some pics from the back side of the housing to show how you mounted them?
