I just went to Autozone and the code they pulled was P1259
Which is the reason why I can't rev past 4K RPM's
The problems could be one the three
1) Low Oil Pressure
2) Blocked oil Passage
3)Failed VCT oil control valve

I checked the oil and the level is perfectly fine.
And other suggestions before I go to the dealer to get raped

See if your vtec solenoid is getting power

I checked the solenoid with a volt tester and it seems to be getting power

maybe the vtec gasket is clogged? not too sure tho. i think theirs a little screen in there to catch "crap". maybe thats disrupting the flow?

I'll start with that.
Is there a DIY to remove & clean the VTEC solenoid screen??

Actually, My oil level is fine.
That was sthe first thing I checked.
I found and fixed the problem.

The problem was the VTEC solenoid. Actually, if you take off take off the solenoid, there's a small spring loaded piston type thing that goes up into the solenoid.
That piston was stuck. If you push it down, it wouldn't come back up because of all the sludge in there.
So I cleaned it as best as possible sprayed a little carb cleaner in there and re-lubricated it with a little motor oil.
Maybe because I went bact to winter mode, (I took off the 18's and put back on the stock 15's)
So, the problem was NOT low oil pressure, but an actual problem with the VTEC system.
At least we have another step incase someone comes accross this problem.
Thanks for the suggestions
