Haha, yeah that was pretty funny. I saw a guy that taped up the front end of his VW R32 when taking a long highway trip, but he actually did it to prevent rocks from tearing up his paint.

I'ts painter's tape so its very easy to peel of.

That's alot of tape residude to get off. Probably got scratched the next day. Good idea though. Pretty cool documentation of the trip.
