we thought you said "**** it" and left the cb7 and civic people went to the far end, and brandon, eric and i left in brandon's car to find a grill somewhere in the park or was that later? cause we left for downtown at like 3. we were the last to leave, except for a couple cb7s...

we'll have more coordination this time around now that we know what axehead has to offer with regards to grilling and such. the other people went to street races on the south side ( ) while us 6th genners hung around for a while then went downtown together.

edit: reason this thread is being made is that cb7tuner.com is arranging a "midwest" meet this summer in st. louis. 6 hours each way...no thanks.

edit 2: sent ray (d1blet) a PM...hopefully he can guide us and hang out again!

Ohhh my bad about that. I hope guys didn't take it like that. We didn't know you guys had food or I didn't read the thread right so we went to go to this burger joint.

Another option is busse woods in schaumburg but I know some local will oppose with that from previous meets held there.

It'll be cool if we can all drive along lake shore dr. and meet at the museum but that usually won't happen til late at night. It also looks like some of you guys want to take pictures in the city from last years meet.

problem with axehead is that theres 1 grill, and some family was holding a birthday party around it the whole afternoon we drove around the entire place and couldn't find another...

we had a 3 car caravan to downtown (took 2.5 hours to get there ) and parked in a small lot off roosevelt i think? the 4 of us who went all had cameras, so we said why not go take some pics

if we get more people, we should find a spot that has space for everyone...

Busse woods is only like a 20 minute drive max from axehead with alot more parking and grills. Its just that when there was a ht meet once there the pd decided to join in the fun and try giving out tickets. I don't think it will be a problem with 6ga plus a few others. Just my .02 on a place if that happened last year.

a cop showed up at like 12:30 at axehead, too he rolled through once or twice more during the day. he talked to the one dude with the 7th gen and that was about it...

thats also the reason we don't want the h-t crowd there. pretty much every single civic leaving the park redlined their car. at least they were on the way out and didn't pull that **** around the rest of us.
