it was a LOT of driving...running from place to place...getting separated from the 2 people who knew where we were going...but it was a good time. SO many

shonestly I had a blast. next time I say we make a meet in Madison. I wouldn't mind seeing ryry, brandon, and eric all over again I regret not taking my camera I could have got all the funny faces brandon was making
and how badass ryry looked in his sunglasses and in his accord (my dep whore sister).

if people are willing to come, i'll host a meet. sure we dont have "the cool stuff" like chicago but the lakes are scenic and so is downtown. parking and driving isn't impossible on the weekends. obviously, you can't pull up to the capitol for pics but shooting across the lake at night is sweet.
hell...instead of wasting 45 minutes in traffic, we could drive up to the devils lake area. the pics in the vancouver thread are what it looks like. come back at night for some city action...
and we have beer...oh do we have beer...

the short of the long...
chinatown: off-roading. boba. ray busting out superfob accent
museum: got holla'd at by a bachlorette party, bike tour group was hatin, segway tour group said the shoot should be a honda promo
soldier field: security guy told us to leave...says his boss told him he'd "shove his foot so far up my ***, i'd need a shoehorn to put my hat on" if we didn't gocool dude though.
got separated from the group with ray for like an hour...closed roads...homeless dudes...U turns...the others knew where they were but didn't know how they got there...
transformers set: hung out for a good while, shootin the ****. the boys showed up and asked if we were with paramount
pretty much called it a night after that since it was like 12:30 and raining a little.

It would be hard but it was probably best to go around 2-3 am to do the shoot but thats pretty late...
2 reasons for no partying...
1. half the people were under 21. it would have been me, eric, brandon, and one of ray's friends (maybe jay? dont know), and either ditch the youngins or attempt to get them in a bar somehow.
2. we were downtown...the hotel was in shaumberg. sober, with bad GPS directions, it took us an hour to get to the hotel, leaving downtown at 12:30am. there was way more traffic than there should have been
kind of a 2b point, none of us were going to leave our cars in some parking garage or alley overnight. we could have left our cars at ray's...but he lives south more...shaumberg is northwest. literally everyone was going in opposite directions.
it was in the plans...just too much to deal with though. if we were baller, we'd being staying downtown and poppin bottles
I-90 construction sucks. Traffic is the worst around midnight on a weekend night. If you know your way you can make it back in 20 minutes
