Last week I started getting this problem with my clutch pedal going soft.If I pushed the clutch and tried to shift gears, the gears wouldn't come out without being pulled put by force n the pedal would stay on the floor. So then replaced the slave cylinder and most of the problem is fixed now. Problem now is When im trying to
reverse while controling the clutch, it won't let me
lift off of it. I have to force it out cus it doesn't wana
get out n da pedal stays. Only for reverse, n making
this rattling sound. Seems like the pressure plates
might be bad n time for a new clutch ?Need all the help I can get right now.

Ratting / whining sound would be the throw out bearing
It's time to replace all that stuff Clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, & throw out bearing
It should be right around $100-300 for parts n another $200-400 labor

Have you checked your motor mounts? I had a torn mount that made getting in and out of gear difficult.

Didn't check the motor mount by the tranny. It's weird cuz if I shift it to reverse with the car off n try holding n controling the clutch then everything is gud n normal. Only has that problem with the car on.

Welcome to clutch Hydraulics, Saturns had the same issues,

Shifted into gears with engine off, couldn't get them to shift with it on.

On saturns it was a matter of the Master and slaves.
Replaced and it worked. Just my .02 Wait for others to chime in on it.
