Hey guys i have a 98 accord 120k and my clutch started slipping today. I was wondering should i replace it with the same stock one or is there a better aftermarket thats not significantly more expensive ?

Where is the cheapest place i can get the clutch kit ?

Thanks for all the help.

Well the Labor is gonna cost you more then the clutch kit... sorry to say but its the truth!

And if ur gonna be doing some performance upgrades with ur car in the future then yes just upgrade it right now and u wont regret it later

there are oem replacements out there...depends on what u want to do for the long run

if u jus want another clutch to just daily drive your car in then jus get an exedy O.E. replacement...got my kit for $100 and $200 to install on the car....

if ur going for performance in teh future... stage 1, stage 2 clutch with a lighter flywheel is what a lot of people opt for.

hope that helps.

You paid $200 in labor? That ridiculously cheap for a 6-8 hour job...

I opted for a clutch that would let me toss the car around when I wanted to without worrying about the clutch slipping, but I drive it normal most of the time. Cost a pretty penny though... we do have a clutch review thread on here...

Thats all i paid.....NASOHC (ken) was the shop owner so he gave me a good deal like he always does... i just provided the parts. I got it from a local warehouse here in Brea, CA that i found thru ebay.
Werd! I thought I got a good deal at $75/hr for 5 hours, just shy of $400 when all said and done.

pfffshhh. Search, what's that? :roy:

i Paid about $325 total for parts and labor.
