Posting for a friend over at Accord Tuner... seems pretty legit and its an American company... Communication with the company is fast and great reviews by a couple BMW, VW guys and a few civic guys... I emailed them a few mins ago, i want to see what they say

ok. found a company. Raceland. i looked at their website and they had FULL coilover set ups for $300 or less. too good to be true? no. its not. i looked at a few websites about the reviews for them. figured id find another cheap off-brand company.

i looked for an HOUR to see if i could find someone who had a bad experience with them. i found only ONE that did. only because of an installation error on his part. BMW owners have them. they like them. VW owners have them. they love them. BEEN using them for a while. Scion owners have them. they like them.

heres a pic of the set up for the 92-00 Civic:

here a couple of threads from different forums that have installed them:

VW threads:

BMW forum:

edit-new forum found: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1272690

Scion forum:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=710693

from what the end of the Scion thread says, a few think its mainly for DD. i myself dont mind a FULL coilover set up for DD. im not tracking my car and like ive said thousands of times in other threads, i dont need 36 or 42 or 85 ways of adjustablility for my suspension. its not a course racing car. just my DD.

i want to hear your input. but DO NOT turn this into a "_____ company makes springs rates better than ______. they've been up for 50 years and was made by this old guy" crap. i plan on talking to the owner about making these for the CB and CD chassis. if your up for it, let me know.

and YES the site does have the "this is not intended for car on public roads." but practicly every aftermarket company out there has that warning on their products. so dont bring that shnit up in this thread.

they are trying to get a buyer list going over at accord tuner so check it out there... it seems like good quality, the BMW guys back them up strongly so i dunno

and yes they are made in china... here is an email that a scion user got from them... their target market is acutally us... to spread the word through forums and reviews to see if they want to continue selling in america... they are popular over in china and japan so far

Eric,

Thank you for your interest in our coilovers, in order to keep the cost down we took our design and had them produced in one of our facotrys in china. evenmore because our coilovers are new in the US we decided that we would offer a limited amount of them at a rock bottom price to get some of the sets out there for people on forums to do threads and reviews on. We figured it would just take a few people to try them and then they would see the quility of our product.

The coilovers have the ability to be daily drivin or raced on no problem, but different states and countrys have diffrent requirments for certifications so we use that as a disclaimer.

Great to hear there making there ay to the scion forums, we have most of our coilover traffic on Volkswagon and BMW forums, We think the scion tc is a great car and have been doing development on performace parts for the tC

Cody

their site says Spring Rates:* Front 310 lbs/inch* Rear 417 lbs/inch but this is not for an accord so i suppose it might change
