Coupe hood

Does the year of a coupe hood matter if im doing the 01-02 coupe conversion or will i have to find an 01-02 coupe hood? Found out that the one in the junkyard is off a 2000 and its painted silver same as my sedan but need to know if it will fit correctly with the 01-02 bumper.
