J30A1 is similar to the J32 engines, but obviously different and weaker. I would search around more here, and if you can't find any information, there probably isn't any, because most people don't modify the crappy J30 engine - it just isn't worth it. If you're going to do mods, then do it right.
A good idea would be to search V6P as well, since they focus solely on V6 technical elements, which J30 is part of.

By the way, I believe the J35 from the Pilot is not a direct swap, it's a large engine and the mounts may be different. Double check this.

but moneypit said that he burned through 2 auto trannies with the j35 right?? dunno if its just stock so if u have an auto tranny, you might want to consider a tranny swap as well

Just replace the j30 head. No need to buy a WHOLE engine.
That money can go towards to upgrading your exterior, CAI, headers, etc.
