Cruise control not working :/

seems to me that his light wasnt even turning on yet mine does. and my srs light is turned on what does that have to do with my problem?


I think I remember the cruise control for our cars is a vacuum type of cruise control. I think, not totally sure. So it could be a vacuum leak.

yes it is. and how could i check?


Lol heres My serious comment now,
The cruise control actuator is vacuum powered, follow the second throttle cable to the actuator if you don't know what it looks like, there should be some hoses and wires going to it, Check the hoses for vacuum leaks and check for an unplugged hose.

as in the cable from the engine to the actuator? the plastic has a little area melted but i thought it was just the cable in that area? (melted from the fire)

where are the vacuum hoses located? possibly a picture diagram to help please.

Update. ok checked vacuum hose and sure enough there was an area where air couldnt get through at all (was melted together from fire). replaced that. but still not engaging gotta take a deeper look into it. and further down the hoses.

bump. had car on and pulled on cruise control throttle and the vacuum worked fine. but still doesnt engage. anything else people?

still cant figure out the problem :/ and no way to check the box unless i have the wheels movie enough to engage the cc. anyone got any solutions?

Could put it on a jack stands or a dyno and try the box.
