Custom exhaust questions

About to get a custom cat-back exhaust made and have same questions about which would be the best way to do it. Want a deeper and louder sound without raspy and droning. What's the stock exhaust piping size for the f23? I've heard some say 1.75" and some say 2". What's the best pipe size to use which well not rob all of the low end torque? As of right now I plan on using the stock cat and resonator and have 2.25" piping all the way to the muffler.

Stock piping = 2 inches I can guarantee you that.

Best piping size for the stock motor will probably be 2 1/4 for the F23a

Dam only 80k? I'm about to hit 185k haha wish my engine was still that fresh

S2000 muffler was okay, not really any performance gains because I was using stock piping still.

After getting some 2 1/4 piping done with a Apexi WS2, I can feel a huge difference on highway speeds. At night on open long freeways, I can get up to 90+ mph easier than I cpuld with stock piping.

i like my stock piping with the muffler deleted. i think in the near future im going to ru 2.25 pipe from a high flow cat with 2 resonators and megan header.

I am v6 and I upgraded piping from 2.25 to 2.5 deleted mid muffler, kept resonator, high flow cat out to a Magnaflow muffler and I feel a difference big time. Sounds great too. Just keep a resonator to keep the rasp out and delete your mid muffler.

i thought about doing a simliar set up (cat, resonator, delete mid muffler out to no muffler just a tip like a blast pipe) but afraid that cops would love to pull me over for it lol.

I'm mostly going to end up with using my stock cat to the resonator with the mid muffler deleted to a muffler (don't now which yet), all with 2.25 piping. I want a vibrant muffler but their kinda pricey :/

I have an f23a1 I started out with a custom catback 2.5" pipes,Megan header,and a large resonator it was nice and deep, now i have a custom 3"with a big resonantor, and DC headers, and its so loud its deep at around 2k-3k then after that its just loud but very tolerable but I really don't recommend 3" with the 4 banger I'm losing HP cuz I is not boosted
