so my dad was at my house the other day and i blocked him in, so he has to move my car.... we no longer that i can scream WHAT THE ***K DID YOU DO!!!!! he backed my car into a brick mailbox. It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but its not good.
Question is should I:
1. try to repair and get the damaged one repainted
2. buy a new bumper and just get it painted.

Obviously one will cost more than the other, but are these types of bumpers even fixable with gouges and deep cuts and indentions.
Pics to come tonight.

1. get heat gun and warm up bumper from both side, take a jar roll any bumps out.
2. apply fiberglass bondo from the INSIDE of the bumper to reinforce the afected area.
3. apply body filler "BONDO" from the OUTSIDE of the bumper.
4. sand the bumper nicely down to the bare plastic.
5. primer, wet sand, paint.
6. drink a few brewskis and forget that this happened.

I like this idea, have your dad help out and make it a special bonding time kind of thing!
