did you disconnect the negative terminal of your battery before installing your head unit?

i had the same issue. the orange illumination wires +/- orange wires will like counter act the stock dimmer switch in accords, my buddy that works at a dealership told me its my multiplex unit, i also have no dash or climate lights, the dealer wants $400+ for a new one so im trying to find one...
