Ive have the cheap rAtors

iPhone spelling fail? I do that all the time.

I have Kaixen 6K HIDs and have never had a single problem with them in over 2 years now. The color is a real nice ice blue. I don't have the relay kit either. I believe they manufacture their own bulbs too. Quality Korean products FTW.

Oh and 8k annoys the sh** outta me. Especially if it's a truck behind me.

I never bought from DDM but my friend bought 10k from them and they are cleary 7k or 8k. Nevertheless, an HID kit for 30 bucks is a steal.

DDM just did the world a favor by giving your friend 8000k instead of 10000k. Hats off to them. It's personal preference but blue doesn't look good and doesn't work at night.

I was going to say the same thing.

A tip of the hat to DDM for keeping the annoying HID colors at bay.....

I just received two bulbs from ddm, supposed to be 6000k and 8000k. The so call 6000k bulb is actually 4700k and the so call 8000k is 7000k. I'm fine with the bulbs being those temperatures but it sucks when you don't get what you ordered.

How were you able to determine the temperatures? Did the bulbs have a different rating stamped? hence you received the wrong bulbs or are you going by whats mentioned in the original post.

According to the above you can get 3k, 4700k(4500-5000), 7000k(6000-8000), 12000k(10000-12000). Your results defy this however as well as both your bulbs should look the same as per the so called DDM SCAM

Using the information provided by the 1st post, the QC stamp on the box indicate that one pair is 4700k and one pair is 7000k. I also test the bulbs on my car and one is pure white and one is white it a tint of blue. The sticker that was applied by ddm tuning labeled one as 6000k and one as 8000k, I doubt it was a mistake.

You said you ordered 6k and 8k. Following the OP post you should have gotten
QC49-7000k. Which would mean both your sets of bulbs you'd get would be the exact same color and temperature. But you say yours are 4700 and 7000. Hence making your case a different scenario in its own.

If you believe you got the wrong bulbs though you should take pics of the bulb colors and message DDM and start a claim/RMA process.
