u need a harness
or do wat i do turn them on wait 10 sec for the first one to wwarm up then turn it off then turn it back on
this is because our cars wiring cannot supply the initial surge current required to light the bulbs reliably. this is straight from the website and they do honor thier waranty btw im on my second set of ballasts

i have my DDM tuning HID kit and i don't have anything...i spent about 53 bucks and they have been working fine since the day i plug them in. you don't need the harness, it's just for "insurance".

i gotcha...i used oems on hondas before but this my first set of aftermarkets so i guess ill do the harness...i remember about 10 years ago i was learning how to wire systems and ran the remote off the fuse box 15 amp radio fuse and burned up a bunch of wires under the dash, was like a 2-300 dollar fix...and todays rate of 65 per hour electrical i could imagine would be a greater loss if something burned up... gonna google this wire harness setup...

Yeah DDM is the highest quality that you can get for the lowest money. I'v had their first-gen kit made by Apexcone, non-slim ballast. I've had them over 2 years not a single issue. I also just recently bought an 8k 55w hi/lo hkit from them with the slim ballasts, no issues yet.
