Means a lot, especially coming from one of the cleanest Accord owners ever!

Wow... can't believe my last update was 2 years ago . Got super swamped with work averaging 50-80 hours a week constantly from 2018-2019. Kinda let the Accord sit for a minute since I bought a 2006 Honda CBR600RR to help cope with the responsibility of adulting. Brace yourselves for a long update lol.

Let's see what have I done to the Accord since....

-destroyed 2 Bayson R lips, destroyed a Type R style lip, broke through (2) 7th gen Accord Mugen lips (Downtown detroit roads are equivalent to Baghdad)[IMG]

    - installed and wrapped E36 M3 side skirts after my Wings West Replica skirt broken flew off on the freeway (hopefully you're starting to see why I stopped driving the car and got the motorcycle instead)

    - wired up my cruise control on my RSX steering wheel

    - finally refinished my BBS LMs 17x8 +30 17x9+27 (reverse mounted to get more aggressive offset, hand polished the lips, painted inside barrel black, powdercoated the faces silver, and finished it off with 24k gold hardware) [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Side note: can't run these wheels yet since they don't clear my BBK now in the current spec shown above...since the faces have different offsets, I'm going to run the more agressive face (+27) in the front and resort to using a spacer in the rear. [New wheel specs will be 17x8+27 and 17x9+30. See pics below for difference in fitment] There's a rust bubble on the rear fender so I need to shave the fenders instead of rolling them so that'll happen over the winter or in the spring of 2021.[IMG][IMG]
    - completed my Acura RL BBK upgrade (FFC Bracket, SS Lines, Powerstop 350Z rotors and Powerstop Pads)

    - swapped out the stock speakers for aftermarket Polk...sub and amp still need to be purchased

    - Trimmed and fit Acura TSX mirrors and had custom white DRL LED switchback installed. They're not on the car since I still need to wire them up and wrap them[IMG]

    - Bought an Acura TSX voltex style diffuser and sent off for paint before install[IMG][IMG]

    - Installed a KBD R34 style front bumper for temporary winter use (some kid in a truck destroyed my front bumper again so I sent it off to the body to get my CF4 Fogs remolded and the now discontinued Bayson R Lip fixed) took my body guy over a year to finish [IMG][IMG]

    - copped a set of taillights with the amber corner delete on OfferUp from @statuskuo
I also have another set of mint 01-02 taillights that I'm planning on sending out to a builder to get a custom build on down the road.[IMG]

    - installed an OEM sunroof visor which doesn't look the greatest IMO but makes a difference in noise that justifies me keeping it

-And for the most recent update......I copped an Acura CLS6 as a donor car!! My supercharger can finally stop collecting dust in the basement. More on this car to come later[IMG]

I'll add pics of the updates, the pictures are coming out potato quality for some reason

The main reason the Accord got sidetracked for 2 years. Did a whole "build" on this that I'll probably start a new thread for.

Yay pics! Now we're talking lol.

BBS FTW! Can't go wrong with LM's.. Good custom work there.

Well, TBH, not so sure if the rear diffuser is integrating the rear end tho.. Seems a little bit crowded imo. IDK, just my 2 cents.. I mean, it's great if it diffuses F out of the air that way, but..

Didn't know BR's PU lips are discontinued. I guess it makes sense, after seeing countless of pieces owned 'n posted on IG by hundreds of Dominican Rep 6GA guys out there haha.

I used to drill 'n crack the internal amber lenses on a 5gen Accord to make them clear. I thought you could do that as well on your original taillights. IDK, maybe the ones you got are somehow special, or the amber removed by him previously.

No wonder why you were sad about J37 I.M. not being your swap route haha. So nice to have a 6-6 swap game playa! Very encouraging haha. Interested to see some pics of the dash in the CL, too!

Thanks Richard! Yeah the BR lips were a dime a dozen and at $70 a pop I think it was one of the better looking lips out there. People are reselling them for 300 now lolol.

I was planning on taking the taillights apart to clean them, amber delete, and reseal but I was too lazy.....I saw these for a good deal and he had done the work already.

Honestly I agree with you on this one. But I had already bought it so I figured let me see how long it'll last before it becomes a victim of Michigan streets. When I dropped it at the body shop I had them mold it into one piece and extend it an inch or 2 in the middle. Kinda toying around with getting a J's Racing GT wing for the TSX on there (might start tracking the accord after it's swapped). Pic below is kinda what I am aiming for for the back end of the Accord.

Also I'm a lil ricer at heart....I love/hate that R34 bumper I have ...something about this accord speaks to me and I don't know why I feel that way lmao

$300? I bought front & rear for half of that price lol. Nice find on the taillights then, but hey, laziness could be your worst enemy haha.

Yea do what you gotta do that makes you happy, but Michigan roads are rough eh. I also don't mind seeing that R34 bumper nowadays haha. If the car speaks to you, then you won't be selling it for sure. (Yea track it!) Some ppl mod the fuck outta car, and sell it afterwards to get a new car. But then, they say they miss their car in the end, which it doesn't make any sense to me lol. I guess their cars don't speak to them haha. (My Accord speaks to my soul. She doesn't shut up, and I feel like I'm mind-fucked lol.)
