DIY 01-03 JDM Civic Fog Lights

they wouldn't necessarily blink if you didn't wire them to the switch wire... When I had my crappy halo's on the car, the halo's were wired to the turn signals and they didn't blink, they just came on and stayed on when I had the lights on

okay heres the harness that i got, im not sure if its the same as everyone else's

okay i understand how to connect this half

so what do i do with the "blue wire with red stripe" wire, the "red wire", and "red wire with blue stripe" wire

Johnny is that the civic harness with the civic switch.......

The bulbs that i got are H11's in the civic fogs....and they shine yellow already...so no need to switch out the bulbs...if u want it more yellow...do wat i did and jus paint the lens more...but they already do shine yellow...and a lot of guys prefer the switch....but i decided to splice them to my low beams for

1. I turn my fogs on at night...wen i turn on my headlights anywayz...y do i need a switch...and i wouldnt run fogs on during the day

2. A lot easier to do....there is a scare that the wires might melt or fawk up.but if u take ur time and do it right the first time...no problem....ive had mines for about 4 months...no problema.....

Don't settle for wiring them straight to the low beams.. it is illegal to have fogs on all the time.

I'll see how mine are wired tomorrow, and let you know what color wires to what. Me and JDM_Dynazty did them together on my car, and it came out perfect!

did u have the same wiring harness as me?

heres whats connected to what...

the wires that are connected to the switch are 1 black, 2 red, and 1 yellow,

while the relay has 1 black, 1 yellow, 1 yellow with blue stripe, and 1 red with blue stripe.

the "1 red wire with blue stripe" thats connected to the relay, goes to that one red wire with blue stripe thats by it self.

the "1 yellow wire with blue stripe" coming from the relay connects to the fuse

one of the "red wires" from the switch, leads to the"red wire plug" thats net to the fuse

ive had mine spliced with my low beams since december and i have hids and i've had no issues wut so ever

Choi, they are not illegal. Having them on all the time is illegal. Unless it's foggy, they should not be on. It may be different in Cali, but in Oklahoma they use that as an excuse to pull you over and bust you on a Saturday night, or any other night for that matter. That's why I personally like a switch wired up in there And also I can ride with them on, with parking lights and blinkers, but no headlights and show off my white LED's in parking lights. Trigger wire for me is tapped into blinkers. Doesn't mean it will blink, but it just activates the fog lights to go on if the switch is pressed, when you turn the lever one click to your parking lights.

oh...il have to look into that....i have em at night wen i drive all the time....i havent gotten any harassment or anythin..but im definitely goin to look into that....if its illegal here in california...then fawk it.....imma get rid of em and do the 01-02 coupe bumper swap then....
