DIY 01-03 JDM Civic Fog Lights

I wouldn't get rid of them, I would just wire in a switch..


Johnny, our family is in the middle of a move right now, and we got a lotta sht to take care of. When I have time, I'll take a peek at my setup. Can you wait a day or two? Or how urgent is it for you to wire the fogs?

id rather not get a switch.....more wiring to do...i was originally goin to convert to the 01-02 coupe bumper anywayz..but wen alex wanted to trade bumpers with the fogs...they kinda grew on me......

The fear of wires melting comes from too much power being sucked out of the turn signals AND the fog's wired at the same time correct? What if since I swapped my corners for some LED's bulbs with no load resistor(hyper blinker I know ) then most of the power would be liberated to go straight to the fogs?

you can always splice it and buy a connector and hook it up to an aftermarket switch. but what i did was just use that Civic switch and made a housing so it'll fit into the slot of our accords.

but then again, i don't own an accord anymore but i'm still around to help. haha

Johnny, I hope this helps. I looked at how I wired mine up and I can't figure out how LMAO. Just look at page 28, it will help. Tomorrow JDM_Dynazty is coming over to help me figure out my other lighting problems.. which are discussed here, if anyone can help:
