It might also be your rotor hitting the dust shield. Did you modify the dust shield?

This problem ended up fixing itself. Shortly after the install, the noise stopped. The pads ended up seating in the calipers in the correct position.

I'm loving this mod - the brakes continue to have incredible stopping power.

Have you done the rear discs yet? I am still with drums. I have bought all the parts needed to convert the rear to dics, im just waiting for a day when i feel like dealing with all the rusty bolts to do it. I'm just wondering how big of a B**** it really is.

As long as you've got a good impact wrench it's pretty easy, if you've got any mechanical skills.

I highly recommend this swap. I was planning on going 5lug, but since I just bought tires 3 months ago, I thought it would be quite a waste.

Needless to say, I know the v6 has 15" on the sedan, so it does clear. The one thing that always had me nervous is that the v6 is still a wider rim than the i4 wheels. Needless to say, it does the clear the 4cyl wheel.

Havent done a full bleed (i used the 1 man bleeder system and dont trust it enough), but just that i feel a greater stopping power. It's just not as responsive/touchy as I thought. But once its on, she's stopping quick.

My parts list:
96 Prelude VTEC Centric Front Rotors
02 Accord Centric Rear Rotors
02 Accord V6 Front Calipers
Stock 02 Accord Rear Calipers
Posi Quiet Ceramic (Centric) for matching calipers all around.
