uuhh.. u don't need the phillips screws.. it's just there to keep the rotor in place while the caliper is being installed

Im pretty sure your car wont explode without the screws but no guarantees...:seewhatyoudid:
haha just wanted to note that incase someone did it and got worried/confused.

there is a DIY for this already....

http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=7657

keep in mind, there are many calipers that are the same as the accord v6, the 92-01 VTEC Preludes (base only i believe for 97-01) can be used, ITR...

# on the caliper should be 17CL15VN

everything i've read also is that it will clear stock 15's, since the v6 come with a 15", and the older accord wagons had 11.1" discs as well with 15's.
had no idea lol. n I mentioned it fit with oem 15's
his has alot more pictures incase ppl dont know how to go about taking everything off which is nice.

my initial plan was to put Legend calipers on but finding those suckers used wasnt going to happen... plus you have to reverse mount them which kinda sketched me out with teh 2 pistons:eh:

I was more agreeing with you that the 15's will fit. I think the old school 4x114 ITR wheels are the ones that need spacers, cuz the knuckle is about 3mm different. something like that.

good writeup regardless, its ok to have two diy's that have the same information, no conflicts.

would the stock brake lines still work with the v6 accord calipers? and does it matter if it's a ABS or not?

Yes the stock break lines work, but stainless steel are pretty sweet and dont cost too much off ebay. If your already bleeding all the lines and doing this work, something to consider. not too sure about the ABS factor. maybe someone can chime in on that one
As for the dust shield, I took it off. I dont see how their would be a problem.
