DIY 9005 Conversion

Im not dropped either. Got wheels, but not dropped. I just need to do my passenger side. How far away from the wall were you??

about 6-8ft? my drive way it sloped down though >.< and is the driver side suppose to be lower than passenger side? or all even? because some friends telll me to do all even but i've seen HID's on cars and the passenger side seems to be 1/2-1 in. higher than driver side

Sorry to bring up a dead thread or whatever, but has anyone done the 9005 conversion and had any problems? Like, do the 9005's last less or anything?

Also, does anyone know how to accurately readjust your headlights? Possible DIY request?

you can adjust the headlights by the only bolt on the back of either of them. theres no need for a diy on how to adjust them, you just need to turn a screw or bolt, hahaha

Sorry lol. That's not what I was asking

I meant like, how do you know if they're adjusted properly so that you don't end up blinding people. I know you're supposed to go up against a wall or something, but what are the exact steps?

oh. well, you should be like 20ft or something from a wall, adjust them, back up, and if they slowly go down then theyre good. at least, thats what i do.

theyre on every light bulb you can buy for your headlights, haha. but you really dont need to do that. thats retarded, honestly.

. Just a FYI, I just swapped out to Standard Sylvania XtraVisions and they're brighter than the Cool Blues.
