DIY 9005 Conversion

wouldn't the watt be too high for low beam and mess up the wires? aren't 9005 like 100w? or am i confused with something... -_-

stock 9005 highbeam bulbs are 65 watts. Or either it was 61? But definitely nowhere near 100w.

^^^65 watts. Your going from roughly 1000 lumens to 1700 lumens just to give you an idea on the brightness.

I don't think anyone will be able to tell the difference. It's not outwardly apparent when you look in the engine bay.

how do you make your headlights look like the tl lights that come stock on the same years as ours?

I believe the TL was reflector based HID. There's no way your going to get it to look like that without doing a retrofit.

It's not a value based asset to a car. It costs a god deal of money and adds to the purchase price considerably.
