DIY cold air intake, CAI (PICS & Video!)

Yea thinking about it now i remember there was that bolt behind the corner of the bumper so id definitely have to remove it.

well shucks. what i think i am looking at now then is a K&N filter. I cant decide if i should A) stay simple and just get a filter for the stock box, or B) pick up a cone filter for ~$40 from O'Rileys and rig my own short ram sort of intake replacing the stock setup.

Would there be any noticeable difference between the two? performance or sound wise?

I replaced a headlight and removed the box while the bumper was off. Just running stair box with nothing under it fer now.

without the pickup tube going into the bumper you may be drawing in under hood heat.

Did you use the same filter? or K&N drop in?
