Where did you locate the dome power wires? Did you pull the power wire all the way up to the dome?

Here is a video I did that shows exactly which wire to tap.

Looks good, I always wanted a little light in there since it's deep and can get pretty dark.
So since it's wired to the dome light, it turns on when you switch the dome light to ON with the doors closed?
And is there a way to turn it on independently without turning on the dome light?

Yea basically whenever their is power going to the dome light, so no there is no way to turn it on independently with it being wired to the dome light power wires..
But if you want that function you just would need to wire them to a constant power source then have to wire a switch and a fuse.

Your install is pretty sweet looking I did this a few weeks ago but mine are blue leds and I wired mine up with my parking lights because I wanted it lit up continuously at night since thats kind of my catchall place haha. My headunit and rest of my lights are blue.

What's rice is putting them on the outside of your car.. What I did is interior mood lighting which no one gets the pleasure of seeing except me and my passenger. But you are entitled to your opinion if you don't like lol, haters gonna hate!

I wire my foot-well lights to the parking light switch. So I'll probably wire the cubby the same way. Thanks for the DIY!
