hey man awesome effort, doing stuff yourself makes u appreciate your own skill. i have also done the drl, and love it, i think it looks cool and has that safety effect as well for daytime driving. i took it one step further, because like most people, i wanted to still have my high beams usable. it took a while, but low and behold, i made the relay drl kit, that is pretty close to stock, i turn on the car the high beams come on at 50%, they only turn off when the low beams turn on, meaning they are on with my parking lights which does look cool in my opinion. i also installed a switch that overrides them, so i can have my whole headlight light up when i want, and when i flick the high beams they go to 100% output. i am in no way discouraging anyone from trying this, but i was alot of work wiring wise and trial wise. if anyone is interested, i will provide as much as i can.

correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the canadian version have DRLs? there should be an easier way while also maintaining the use of your high beams.
