Just did this. I used WD-40, and a microfiber chamois wrapped around my fingernail. No heat. My emblems just came right off. Took 10 min tops. WD-40 worked very well, and no..it's not bad for the paint, or the clear. It is 11:38pm, I was bored and did this witht he light of a flash light. That's how easy it really is.

Just gonna throw up my pics, I debaged it earlier today.
All I used was a hair dryer, dental floss, paper towel and meguairs scratch x.... It took a while but it looks like nothing was ever there!

NO GHOST!
These pictures are after doing the de-badge and then wash and two coats of meguairs gold wax...I am happy!

just did mine yersterday. i didnt even need the fishing line or floss. after heating it up it practically fell off. i cleaned it up with some goo gone for the stickiness, then some 3m rubbing compound and finished it off with a clay bar. im really happy with the result. although for some reason i think my H is slanting up from left to right. no idea how that can happen since it has the pin holes. i may replace it and see if i can fix it. now all i need to do is remome the amber reflector in the tails for a really clean look. :hihi:
