Ah so that mythical cubical tool with various key shapes for specific rear calipers does not need to be used here? I know that some accords need that cube tool with shapes as a key to do some stuff having to do with brakes. What is the certainty of this? I don't have that tool...

generally all rear disc brake systems with a lever style parking brake need the cube to turn the piston back in. usually you can get away using a needle nose or small channel locks to grab the piston. just dont tear the dust boot.

this one

there are two bolts and I believe they are 17mm

If you're doing a pad slap, just remove the lower 12mm bolt on the caliper and swing it up.

If you're replacing/machining the rotors, everything must come off.
