DIY - lights in mirrors

Hi Guys!
At the begining sorry for my english.
Want to present my own mod, lighting in mirrors for road when opening a car.

If someone is interested, little instruction below:

I bought led lamps for licence plate of VW Golf, link to polish "ebay", but for sure you will filnd something in US:

Instalation is really easy, wire + put into + in lamp at doors. Wire - (it`s steering wire) put into fuse box located at the passanger side to the black wire with white strip and 2 grey dots - see picture:



Holes for new lamps in mirror the best way is to mill by handly milling machine using preasure air:



Most difficule is to locate wires in mirror. I used wires from heating system of mirrors ( not really usefull in Poland).

this is actually pretty neat. I'm tempted to try this however, i'm just scared to chop up my mirrors lol

I got crystal or water clear LEDs and press in mounts and drilled the holes in the bottoms of the mirrors, i added 2 leds with attached resistors to the bottom. You cannt really see them unless your looking for them. I didnt disassemble the lights to install them either. Wired them to the door courtsey lights that way when the door opens the lights come on. They can also be added to alarm systems.

Yes, but How did you put wires? Ale the lifhting strong?
In My option light turn on when you open car from pilot in Keys, not when you opening door directly - hope you understand, my English isn't high class
