if you read the thread, youd find out, quite a few times, that all 6g front knuckles are the same. so yes, the calipers will bolt up and yes the lines will work fine.

and it is simplified, in the very first post. thats the point of a diy.

My question would be will the front v6 calipers fit on the EX brackets? and will the front EX brake lines go into the v6 calipers? Sorry if these questions have been answered but after 17 pages im confused.

PS: Someone should definately just simplify a 5 lug conversion for EX cuz reading thru 17 pages of confusion sucks.

This has been answered, several times in this thread.

i read through this thread quickly for myself (EX), to sum it up for us EX guys...

FRONT:
Knuckles are same I4/V6 - just the hub/bearing assembly is needed
V6 Rotors (5lug) - bigger than stock 4cyl by almost an inch
V6 Calipers - bigger than stock 4 cyl to match bigger rotor
V6 Pads

REAR:
Knuckles are same I4/V6 - just the hub/bearing assembly is needed
V6 Rotors (5lug) - same size as stock 4cyl
Stock I4 Calipers - exact same as V6
V6 Pads - Same as I4 since Caliper is same

If someone can correct me in any areas I may be missing/wrong. I'd appreciate it, thanks everyone.

This is a great writeup for sure.

Correct....for the eleventeenth time

Yeah, like I said, I skimmed through it, and combined probably 5 total posts into one. I even gave ya credit for the great DIY thread, but once again thanks for the confirmation.

lx models, with rear drums, have different rear knuckles, afaik. but the rest is right...again.

thanks man, thats what i gathered from the previous posts, i was simply trying to confirm for us EX guys, and put it in as one post. maybe a whole new thread should be created for one answer for the EX guys. or not, since i just answered it.

I'm sure in a few weeks/months someone will post in here asking for the EX parts list, again.

^^^ youre probably right, I know I asked what would be a noob question, but I just wanted to confirm/combine from reading through all the posts.

Maybe since you are thread starter you can copy/paste it in the beginning post so no one will ask again haha, though that prob wont help either :lolhitting:
