What u need:
1 can of Pactra Racing window tint (RC294)
denatured alcohol
tape (if needed)
1 can of clear coat (if needed)
old newspapers

1) Remove taillights if you want
2) clean taillights with alcohol to take off dirt etc.
3) if taillights were still on car....tape up areas around so overspray will not get on car....also utilize newspaper
4) spray light coats of Pacta on to the tailights until desired darknessleaving at least 5 minutes in between coats.
5) NOTE: I DID NOT DO THIS PART ON MY TAILLIGHTS. spray clear coat on taillights again leaving at least 5 minutes between coats.
6) let them dry and put back on car

Looks pretty good man. Did you take these pictures of your tinted tails before the tint thoroughly dried? I still recommend #1 after tinting - apply clearcoat #2 - rub them out thoroughly with polishing compound. You won't even be able to tell that they were sprayed. I bet if I looked at yours closely I would be able to tell, even though I can't from the pictures..

You can still do that, and polishing compound is like $3.

I used the same Pactra tint as you did - good choice on that.

Damn, I would have traded you my reflector tinted tails for those clear/reds - they looked sexy!

Your buddy ever think about taking those flames off around the "Nissan" emblem? Makes it look a little hmm... :icon_gay:
And perhaps debadging that sexy a$$-end! :D??

Overall I like what you have done a lot

Pics were taken after it dried....love that pactra stuff bro....oh and funny u should mention that flame thing around his emblem cuz right after we tinted the tail he peeled them off cuz they made the car look "girly" lol dont even know why he had them on there in the first place!!!

looking good, it's funny 'cause i was going tomorow to buy the supplies and writing a DIY; oh well. How many coats did you apply. My goal is to have it like the second pic, just little smoked.
