Do 6th Gen Accords have a Factory Subwoofer?

Hi Everyone,

New member here and I searched the internet for this question - Do 6th Gen Accords have a factory subwoofer? I have a 2001 V6 EX.

I am in the process of installing a new aftermarket head unit and have heard that the head unit will not work with factory subwoofers (without additional wiring). Is this statement true?

No i don't think any of them did. I don't think Honda started that until 8th gens.
