do i need a cat?

im running headers and stock exhaust at the moment..i plan on buying the APEXI WS2 exhaust sometime soon but until then wondering if ill be okay buying a hi-flow cat...when i buy the full exhaust system will it come with one? am i wasting money buying this?

It will not come with a cat, hence the "cat back exhaust" name.

dont know what emissions law are like in ohio, so that that into consideration too. most high flow cats wont pass

its not needed, and an aftermarket exhaust system will not come with one. you really jus need the exhaust system.

so would the exhaust system bolt onto the headers? or the stock cat converter?

exhaust bolts to stock cat, as long as u buy a kit for the right car. header bolts to the other end of the cat

yup you should definitely consider picking up a hi-flo cat ... i blew out two stock cats after installing my header till i decided to go ahead and just gut it
