Do you flash your brights to warn drivers of a cop???

Yeah I do. If you already went by the cop, why would you worry about them seeing you flash your lights? Only flash em when you're out of view of the cop car.

But yeah man, it has probably saved me once or twice when someone let me know a cop or "something" was going on up ahead. I feel like I should help out as many motorists as I can...

Yeah, but how can a cop tell if you're flashing to warn people and if you'r flashing to get someone's attention in front of you.
Sometimes I flash an oncoming vehicle at night if they only have their park lights on or if they have their high beams on

I dont cause in the bay cops will pull you over for anything. And really bad cause black housed hids + limo tint = illegal and easy target to pull over!

I do.. and other driver's have saved me sometimes too by flashing their lights at me .. its not like the cop can see your head lights if he's behind you.. i only usually do it in the day

you've never passed 2 cops within a mile of each other? fairly common in HR, Richmond area, and up and down I-81 on busy weekends. Especially in the summer.

Oh, and they like to setup traps specifically to catch people flashing their lights down here during amber alerts.

ive tried to but sometimes its hard to do it because of a median with big trees or the cop lookin at your or your way. other times, if i see people speeding hardcore and swerving and stuff ill be like naa, good luck.

word, in jersey its illegal to "warn" oncoming drivers.

my dumbass ex was driving, and passed a cop sitting off to the side, a car was coming up, and she flickered her lights at them, and it was a cop

dumbass. but yea, she got pulled over and she got let off, cuz she was a blonde with some tig ol bitties, of course.

also, if youre the cop, its easy to see if someone who passes you is doing such a thing by just looking at the reflective road signs...they can reflect the lights and the cop can see that your flashing people even tho theyre behind you.
